After a long winter with lockdowns spring is finally springing away and flowers are starting to raise their sleepy heads and feeding the pollinators after their winter sleep. We all love a beautiful bunch of flowers in our homes, especially ones that are locally grown and who hasn't witnessed the rise in cut flower farm businesses, lessening the environmental impact of importing flowers from overseas. Flowers of course are seasonal, but it is possible to have flowers in your home all year round.
This continues with the design trend of 2020 into 2021 of bringing more of nature inside the home living and work space, whether it be a bold statement piece of wall art such as 'Dahlia: Pat and Perc' above or smaller framed prints like the 'Spring Garden' below.
As we tentatively prepare to have family and friends back in our homes once lockdowns end, I'm sure I am not the only one who has really looked at my interiors and made big changes to how they look and feel.
There has also been another big trend over the last year to have clear outs and make our living spaces simpler, clutter free, clearer and to be much more bolder with colour to reflect your personality.
With all those business, family and friends Zoom calls and Facetime, who isn't tired of seeing bookcases! Why not make a big statement with your wall art.
